Toastmasters International, is a nonprofit educational organization, that has been working for more than 80 years to provide for this need and help people conquer their pre-speech jitters. From one club started at the YMCA in Santa Ana, California, Toastmasters has grown to become the world’s largest organization devoted to developing people’s public and interpersonal communication skills. A Toastmasters club is a “learn-by-doing” workshop in which men and women hone their skills in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. A typical club has 20 to 40 members, who meet weekly or biweekly to learn and practice public speaking techniques. We welcome all guests. Reservation is not required before coming. The Deadock Toastmasters Club meets weekly at 19:20 on Monday evenings in the Creative Learning Building at KAIST. While the club has close ties with KAIST, they welcome members from outside of the university. Among its members are: students, scientists, engineers, teachers, and people from many different countries and all walks of life.
Come improve your English and leaderhip and skills and also meet a great group of people!!
