The Department of Mechanical Engineering is proud to present a talk by Professor Hyun Jae-Min. Intriguingly entitled "Employed Foreigner", Professor Hyun will be talking about the modernization of 19th Century Japan. Professor Hyun graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Seoul National University in 1968 and a Masters Degree from Princeton University in 1972. He received his Ph.d. from Rutgers University in 1973 [ed. boy, would the KAIST President love to have more Ph.D. candidates like Professor Hyun!!!] Among his many research interests, Professor Hyun is interested in Flows of rotating and stratified fluids, convective heat transfer, and numerical solutions of complex fluid flows.
