Seminar: Hyun Jae-MIn "Employed Foreigner"Tuesday 18th March 2008 [KAIST]

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is proud to present a talk by Professor Hyun Jae-Min. Intriguingly entitled "Employed Foreigner", Professor Hyun will be talking about the modernization of 19th Century Japan. Professor Hyun graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Seoul National University in 1968 and a Masters Degree from Princeton University in 1972. He received his Ph.d. from Rutgers University in 1973 [ed. boy, would the KAIST President love to have more Ph.D. candidates like Professor Hyun!!!] Among his many research interests, Professor Hyun is interested in Flows of rotating and stratified fluids, convective heat transfer, and numerical solutions of complex fluid flows. While because of the subject matter and need to use Chinese characters and terminology the talk will be in Korean, Professor Hyun would be pleased to talk [in English] to anyone interested in the topic and can be contacted via email at: jmhyun@kaist.ac.kr.
